In the news of the upcoming 10th Special Force World Championships, the PlayPark Special Force Online team launched a lineup of tournament legs to find the next representative that will be representing the Philippines in the main competition itself. Hence, the Resbak League Season 2 is born.

 

Now, with Cebu being one of the key cities holding qualifiers for the Resbak League, Cebu eSports United and Unity eSports along with the City Government will be working with PlayPark in order to ensure that the Cebuanos will be well represented once the knockout stages of the tournament begins. Now, the Queen City of the South is gearing up for a better, bigger, and louder firefights because the Cebu City Mayor’s Cup is now a part of the Resbak League Season 2!

 

Here’s how it will work:

 

There will be two sub-qualifying legs for Cebu. The first qualifying leg will be on February 2, 2019 at Gamer’s Gakuen, in Mandaue. The second qualifying leg will be on March 9, 2019 at Voyager Sanciangko. The champions of both legs will be having a final head to head game that will be on March 2019, with a specific date to be announced later. The winner of the finals will be the official representative of Cebu in the knockout rounds of the Resbak League Season 2.

 

The prize pool is as follows:

General Rules and Regulations 

TEAM AND GAME FORMAT
All matches will be played in LIVE SERVER
Team format is 5 versus 5 (wherein teams lineup should have 5 members plus 2 nominated substitute members)
A team can only field 1 sniper during a match. Having 5 Rifle in a match is prohibited.

 

SUBSTITUTION RULES
A team can have up to 2 substitutes listed during the registration period
A substitute cannot be a member of another team competing on the same tournament/area.
If on succeeding matches where a player needs to be substituted and NO substitute was registered. The team will play handicapped.
If a handicap team is 3 and below members. Automatic forfeit on the current match until he/she can be replaced of a registered substitute.
No change of lineup will be allowed once the tournament has started.

3rd Person View : OFF
Spectator : TEAM
Quickplay : OFF
Only top 5 slots are allowed to be occupied by the team players. Lower slots will be for spectators
9 Wins Autoswitch (1st and 2nd round is Dead Round, TK for each team to load all players)
Score in game must be 1 -1
Scoring will start on the 3rd round
First team to get 8 wins will win the match ( including TK score)

Only designated programs are allowed and will be installed by the Marshal
If a program required is not installed, You need to call the attention of the Marshal / Tech
Allowed programs: Teamspeak, Discord, Mouse Drivers and Headset Drivers
Youtube/Facebook during matches are not allowed

 

PREPARATION TIME
Each team will be provided with 10minutes setup time.
All gaming gears and programs should be prepared during that time.
Break like Biobreak and Smoke break is included in the 10minutes
Marshal can start a match with incomplete teams if 10minutes have already passed and warnings have been issued.

 

MAPS AND SIDE PICKS
Before all matches. Marshal will require all Team Captain to gather for Map and Side Pick
Maps will be drawn randomly via Draw lots / randomizer
Sides picks will be picked by winning team via toss coin.

 

WEAPON AND ITEMS RESTRICTION
For Secondary weapon :  Players are not allowed to use SPAS-12 / Desperado / Double Winchester / RGD-5
For Transformer : Players are not allowed to use any transformer

 

PC AND CLIENT ISSUE  / NETWORK ISSUE
In the event of Delays and Errors due to PC and Game client, network issues. You need to call the attention of the marshal prior to the start of the matches.
In case PC / Network issue before match have started or Pre-Gunfight. Room will be restarted
In case PC / Network issue before match have started or Post-Gunfight. Game will continue and issue will be fixed on the next round.
Only TEAM CAPTAIN can contest the situtation and will be reviewed by the Marshal.

 

PRE-GUNFIGHT / POST-GUNFIGHT *
Pre-gunfight is defined as all players are still in the starting and no damage to any HP from any members of any team.
Post-gunfight is defined as any player gets killed or damaged already. Match will be continued.
All decisions made by the Official are final
